Dental Assistant Job Description

Zufall Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists and dental hygienists in providing primary care dental services to patients.
  • Perform sterilization, preparation, and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.
  • Prepare operatory for patient treatment and assist patients with resolving minor difficulties.
  • Expose and develop dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and Dental Department directives.
  • Maintain dental Department equipment and areas in compliance with Dental Department policies and protocols.
  • Assist with various clinical and administrative functions of the center.
Requirements:
  • Certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English required, with Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to work with diverse social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.
  • Physical movements and manual dexterity normally associated with dental assisting in general practice dentistry.
