Role Summary:
The CBAA will collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to create and execute tailored treatment strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong dedication to supporting children in reaching their fullest potential while thriving in a cooperative and encouraging atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in crafting and executing personalized ABA treatment strategies.
- Conduct evaluations and gather data on client development.
- Deliver direct ABA therapy to clients, ensuring adherence to established treatment protocols.
- Guide and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support personnel.
- Engage with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary professionals to align on client objectives.
- Ensure precise and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
- Participate in team discussions and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
- Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in ABA therapy, particularly with children on the autism spectrum.
- Strong grasp of ABA methodologies and behavioral intervention techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in data collection and analytical skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
