Rooftop Loader

As a Rooftop Loader at SRS Distribution Inc, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Driver at the Branch by loading the truck and riding with the Driver to the job site to unload building materials safely and efficiently.

The roofing materials will be unloaded onto the roof of the building with attention paid to the Roofing Contractors' needs and the homeowners' property. This is a physically-demanding, labor-intensive position that requires lifting up to 100 lbs. properly, repeatedly, and on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload roofing materials from the truck and transport them to the job site
• Work with the Driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of building materials
• Collaborate with Roofing Contractors to meet their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Experience working in a physically-demanding, labor-intensive position
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work at heights
• Basic math skills for inventory counts
• English verbal and written skills for communication with team members
• Reliability, safety, and teamwork skills
