Position Overview:
The Procurement Coordinator role is integral to the purchasing and supply chain operations at Pacer Staffing. This position is dedicated to managing and streamlining procurement activities, ensuring efficient business operations through effective coordination of purchasing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
While this list is not exhaustive, the following duties are essential to the role:
1. Manage purchase order modifications, including deferrals, expedites, and cancellations.
2. Generate and analyze reports on unacknowledged orders and overdue transactions.
3. Perform cost analysis and update material cost standards within the ERP system.
4. Facilitate supplier performance reviews to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and conduct preliminary evaluations of supplier bids.
6. Implement supplier price adjustments and support negotiation processes.
7. Prepare suppliers for new product launches in collaboration with the New Product Development team.
8. Address critical supply shortages through expedited purchasing and corrective actions.
9. Contribute to supply chain optimization efforts aimed at improving material flow and reducing waste.
10. Mentor and guide junior purchasing staff.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant industry certifications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with various web-based software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Employment Type:
Full-time

Compensation:
$23.00 per hour, with an expected workload of 40 hours per week.
