Job Title: Aviation Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Aviation Instructor to join our team at Blue Ridge Community College. As an Aviation Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality flight training to students, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and maintaining pilot proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide flight instruction and ground instruction to students
  • Adhere to established safety practices and procedures
  • Maintain accurate record keeping
  • Display professionalism

Requirements:

  • Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Pilot Certificate, and Commercial Pilot Certificate - fixed wing
  • Flight Instructor Certificate - Airplane
  • Valid Class III FAA Medical Certificate or greater
  • Experience as a student or flight instructor in a Part 141 or Part 61 training program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flight instruction experience
