We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at the Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma LLC. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement patient care plans to achieve identified outcomes and deliver safe patient care according to facility policy and procedure.
- Ensure the provision of patient care in an organized and timely manner, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Verify surgical/procedure sites with patients and according to surgical schedules and patient histories and physicals.
- Obtain and verify operative/procedure consent, ensuring that patients understand the risks and benefits of the procedure.
- Communicate relevant information to physicians and other healthcare staff, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Valid Oklahoma nursing license required.
- Operating room experience is preferred, but we will train RNs with perioperative and/or OR clinical experience.
- BLS is required; ACLS and PALS are preferred.
