Job Title: Food Expeditor / Food Runner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Expeditor / Food Runner to join our team at Brown Iron Brewhouse. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of dishes to our guests, maintaining fast service, and upholding our quality and sanitation standards.

  • Checking dishes for accuracy and presentation
  • Assisting in final dish preparation
  • Maintaining fast service
  • Handling customer complaints
  • Upholding quality and sanitation standards
  • Overseeing the movement of orders from a guest placing the order to the cleaning of the table
  • Communicating orders and information between the front of house and back of the house

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dishes to guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with final dish preparation, including plating and garnishing
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our quality and sanitation standards
  • Communicate effectively with the front of house and back of house teams to ensure seamless service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and sanitation
