We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art computerized tomography equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging procedures, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Provide support to other imaging technologists as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications, adhering to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Interact effectively with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to maintain high levels of patient care and continuity.
- Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures, using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked, adhering to infection control standards.
- Accurately code and enter charges for exams performed.
- Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to the Core values of Christus Health.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
- 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
