We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers and CNAs who can drive. As a valued member of our home care family, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Job Summary

The Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides clients with various personal care and homemaker/companion services through an established plan of care, enabling them to remain in their residence. This role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and understanding, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices, change of position, toileting, commode, incontinent care, meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding.
  • Companion/Sitter/Household Management: Provide companionship and respite services for family members, perform homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Medication Assistance Services: Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Direct Care Worker or Home Health Aide course.
  • Be listed in good standing on the Pennsylvania Aide Registry.
  • Achieve a minimum score of 80% on the competency exam (Home Health Aide Test).
  • Meet passing criteria on the DEARS Ethics test.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to an insured automobile or adequate transportation.
