Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trailer Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Knight Transportation. As a Trailer Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting light to medium trailer repairs, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and diagnosing issues with HVAC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain heavy truck and trailer equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC and electrical systems
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to achieve team goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in trailer repair and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to read and understand repair manuals
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
