We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards.
- Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
- Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care is consistent with established standards.
- Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
- Recent experience as a Sonographer is preferred.
