About the RoleThe IT Analyst position at AGC Automotive Americas is a key role in supporting the company's infrastructure operations. As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting systems and networks for operations in AANA.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 1 and 2 application support for ongoing business operations
- Support day-to-day activities for manufacturing plant environment in both IT areas
- Installation, testing, maintenance, and support of system equipment and operating systems that make up manufacturing operations
- Ensure systems conform to software, hardware, and operating standards and operate freely and are not impacted by external threats
- Support of IT environment including areas such as systems, networks, applications, IT/OT, security, etc.
- Strategy & Planning
- Assist in the support of integrating new enterprise applications and existing applications already present
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of on-premises and cloud IT Infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of IT Infrastructure for fulfilling business objectives and processes
- Review, analyze, and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of existing IT Infrastructure systems and networks
- Provide direct-line support for IT manufacturing systems and services, including, but not limited to configuration, support, availability, connectivity, performance, security, and protection
- Maintain server and network infrastructure, including, but not limited to clients and servers, switches, routers, wireless, and firewall equipment
- Perform direct troubleshooting and support, related to manufacturing system infrastructure and applications
- User account administration, telephone monitoring operations, and administration, problem determination, and resolution
- Provide telephone and desk-side support for business users related to manufacturing locations, applications, processes, and procedures
- College diploma or degree in Information Technology field and/or 5+ years of work experience
- Certifications in one or more of the following areas are preferred (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, VMWare, Cloud, Security)
- Excellent hardware & software administration, troubleshooting experience
- Experience with supporting enterprise software applications
- Hands-on experience supporting and implementing Cisco network equipment (SW/RTR/FW/Wireless)
- System Administration background (Windows Server, VMWare, Linux)
- Working with Endpoint Management solutions to support, maintain, and manage Client HW/SW
- Experience configuring & supporting environments with PowerShell, Group Policy, Active Directory
- Ability to conduct research into system issues and support through resolution
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
