Public Transit Operator

This Public Transit Operator position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public and has a strong commitment to safety. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing transportation services to our community.
Responsibilities- Drive a coach to transport passengers safely and efficiently, following established routes and schedules.
- Manage fare collection, transfer distribution, and ensure accurate accounting of transactions.
- Document any issues or incidents that occur during operations, maintaining accurate logs and records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders regarding vehicle maintenance, delays, or emergencies.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and good driving record required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- $38,000 - $48,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
