DMLO CPAs is in search of a Senior Tax Advisor with a focus on gift, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns.
We are interested in candidates who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Advisor:
- Preparation of intricate gift, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Conducting thorough evaluations of various tax returns and identifying potential tax concerns.
- Engaging in tax planning strategies for clients.
- Researching technical accounting and tax-related matters.
- Providing mentorship to junior staff, offering support and direction.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all client information.
- Executing additional accounting and tax-related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting environment, including the preparation and/or review of gift, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated integrity and a robust work ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
