The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the setup, adjustment, and operation of automated assembly machinery. This role requires collaboration within a team environment on the production floor, executing various essential tasks.
Work Schedule: 3rd shift
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze faults displayed on HMI screens and implement appropriate recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Technicians to report equipment-related issues.
- Assist team members throughout the assembly process as needed.
- Perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Utilize hand tools for changing tooling and preparing for different part runs.
- Manage and retrieve materials necessary for the assembly cell, including operating a fork truck.
- Conduct sprinkler tests in accordance with approved laboratory standards.
- Set up, adjust, and qualify automated machinery while executing all related tasks.
- Conduct visual inspections and listen for machine malfunctions.
- Inspect and package sprinklers to meet quality standards.
- Complete all required documentation for quality systems and production planning.
- Dismantle sprinklers and components for parts salvage.
- Identify and record scrap and salvage for inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cell on a daily basis.
- Lift weights up to 40 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
