Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Company: Whittier Health Network

Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week

Compensation:
Base Pay: $20 - $23
Additional differentials available for evening, night, and weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding care to residents. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in resident conditions to the supervising nurse
  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene, including bathing and dressing
  • Providing grooming services such as shaving and nail care
  • Documenting residents' food and fluid intake accurately
  • Feeding residents in accordance with their care plans
  • Managing meal trays and ensuring timely delivery
  • Responding promptly to call lights
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment by adjusting bed rails and positioning
  • Assisting with bathroom needs every two hours or as requested
  • Performing bathing procedures, including tub baths and showers
  • Repositioning residents every two hours to prevent discomfort
  • Emptying and documenting urinary drainage units
  • Supporting nursing staff with treatment tasks
  • Changing bed linens for both occupied and unoccupied beds
  • Recording and reporting residents' weights
  • Inspecting and reporting on residents' skin conditions during daily care

Qualifications:
  • Minimum education requirement: 10th grade; High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts is required
