Pod Assistant/Certified Nurse Aide


Location:
Clay Center Family Physicians with occasional coverage at satellite offices as needed


Schedule:
Full-time, Monday - Friday


Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pod Assistant/Nurse Aide to support our clinical team at Clay Center Family Physicians. This role offers a unique blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls and manage messages efficiently
• Schedule patient appointments with precision
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for their office visits
• Provide support to clinical staff with various tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• Strong office skills and proficiency with computers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Highly organized and able to maintain confidentiality
• Certification as a Nurse Aide or Medical Assistant is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate
• Previous medical experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right person
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed for the benefit of the department and our patients
