We are currently looking for qualified candidates to join our team:
Position: Process Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong project management and organizational capabilities.
- Exhibit high proficiency in AS9102 FAIR, PPAP, and process validation activities.
- Develop and enhance quality plans to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes, customer requirements, and engineering standards.
- Actively participate as a member of the MRB team, monitoring manufacturing processes and driving root cause corrective action (RCCA) initiatives.
- Support and assist in special process qualifications and source qualifications while maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Engage in plant cost reduction initiatives through Kaizen events, Six Sigma project support, and engineering project leadership.
- Create in-process and final inspection method sheets, and conduct Gage R&R and correlation studies.
- Utilize MS Suite and SPC monitoring tools effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to support their processes and provide guidance on quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
- Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant quality or manufacturing experience.
- Strong proficiency in GD&T; familiarity with RTX (Goodrich and Hamilton Sundstrand) and GE Aerospace requirements is preferred.
- Understanding of QMS requirements in compliance with aerospace standards, including AS 9100 and ISO standards.
- Knowledge and experience with first piece, in-process, and final inspections and related equipment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and effective verbal communication skills in time-sensitive situations.
Additional Experience:
- Prior DQR & LCS (CLCSR) certification is a plus.
- Experience in internal quality management system auditing is a plus.
- Familiarity with VBA or Python is a plus.
- Experience with CMM measurement (preferably Zeiss Calypso) is a plus.
