Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Mercy Hospital Southeast. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
Requirements
  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
