Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
- Prescription Filling: Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
- Supply Management: Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Wholesaler Orders: Receive and process wholesaler medication orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Pharmacy Compliance: Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties relating to the department, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with strong professional verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication with colleagues and customers.
- Delivery: Make occasional deliveries when needed, using your own vehicle and being reimbursed for mileage.
- Active License: Hold an active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri.
- Experience: Have at least 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Transportation: Have access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
- Certification: Hold National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
