Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Network Administrator to join our team at Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high levels of performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, servers, workstations, and telecommunications.
  • Provide leadership and training to junior team members to ensure operational goals are met.
  • Support and lead project teams to clarify project requirements, provide design solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Research and resolve network issues, perform hardware and virtualized server setup, and manage operating systems and telecommunications.
  • Develop and implement strategies for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure data integrity and protection.
  • Collaborate with management, departments, and vendors to support information technology initiatives and ensure seamless integration with business operations.
  • Act as a technical expert and provide guidance to junior team members on network administration, systems administration, and project management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience in network administration and support.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in network and systems administration.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise presentations, reports, and project management documentation.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced experience in working with VM Ware, Windows Active Directory, and Group Policy Management.
