Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Life Support systems and respond to medical emergencies within the hospital.
  • Perform tasks included in the license practice act within department guidelines and policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and supervisory staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Record pertinent patient care data using the computerized medical record or manual documentation.
  • Preserve patient confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a CoARC accredited program.
  • Current Louisiana State Temporary Permit issued by LSBME or Senior student in accredited program and BLS certification; ACLS within 1 year of hire.
