Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our team at Novalink Solutions LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications engineering and a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into telecommunications requirements, designing and ordering necessary infrastructure.
  • Provide in-depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives for government public safety agencies in support of strategic modernization efforts.
  • Design telecommunications enhancement for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.
  • Supervise projects and staff, providing overall program management services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems and technology in a telecom environment.
  • RCDD certification required.
  • Knowledge and experience with configuration and maintenance of gateways, routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, network servers, multiplexers, calling card platforms, TDM, Dialogic, VoIP systems (SIP, H.323 protocols, dial peers, and VoIP carrier trunking).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Next Generation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of LAN, CAN, WAN, voice, and video requirements.
