Danish Pastry Baker

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Danish Pastry Baker to join our team at Ole & Steen. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality Danish pastries, bread, and laminated dough. • Prepare a variety of breads, ryes, rolls, and pastries according to traditional Danish recipes
• Monitor and maintain the quality of products being baked, adjusting oven temperatures and baking times as needed
• Measure and combine ingredients, using mixers, heat sources, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet standards and specifications
• Follow portion standards and monitor inventory levels to optimize production

• Completion of a culinary school program or apprenticeship preferred
• 2-3 years of professional baking experience, preferably with Danish or Scandinavian baking methods
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as required
• Able to lift 50+lbs without restriction
• Basic math skills and excellent time management abilities
