Job Title: Relief Driver

At Republic Services, we are seeking a skilled Relief Driver to join our team. As a Relief Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy truck along designated routes and to disposal sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy.
  • Report any safety issues on standard reports.
  • Operate the truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported to the designated disposal site.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
