Position: Laboratory Technician

As a Laboratory Technician at Itaconix Corporation, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to excellence across various operational areas, including research and development, quality assurance, and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research, development, quality assurance, and production activities as directed to fulfill the Company's goals.
  2. Set up, operate, maintain, and enhance laboratory equipment and instruments.
  3. Ensure laboratory spaces are kept in optimal working condition.
  4. Collect and analyze data, including contributions for electronic processing.
  5. Compile and evaluate production and quality control data, ensuring accuracy in electronic records.
  6. Prepare documentation and finished products for distribution.
  7. Operate a forklift for loading and unloading shipping vehicles.
  8. Uphold and enforce safety standards within the laboratory and facility.
  9. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations established by Itaconix.
  10. Perform all duties with diligence, integrity, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of education in chemistry or a related technical field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Physically capable of safely operating a forklift.
  • Able to regularly lift bags weighing up to 55 lbs.
  • General technical knowledge of laboratory techniques and chemicals is preferred.
