Job Summary

This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining mobile equipment at the Auto Hobby Shop, Beale AFB, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in lubrication and oil change, as well as the ability to read and understand manual specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drain and change lubricants in crank cases, differentials, and transmissions
  • Lubricate vehicles and replace oil and filters
  • Replace accessories such as rear view mirrors, rotate, replace, and/or repair tube and tubeless tires
  • Service brakes (pads and rotors), check components such as spark plugs, wires, rotors, fan belts, tail pipes, mufflers, hoses, and similar items
  • Maintain records and inventory
Requirements
  • Must have experience servicing vehicles (i.e. lubricate, oil, and filter change)
  • Must be able to read and understand manual specifications and possess the ability to verbally communicate with patrons
Working Conditions

Frequent bending, reaching, and working in awkward positions when performing work in lube pits or from car racks. Occasional heavy lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Benefits

This position is a Regular Part-Time guaranteed 20 hours per week but can work 20-40 hours per week. Receives benefits.
