About the Role

Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Adolescent IOP Counselor/Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide psycho-education, structured group and individual counseling, and outreach services to patients, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide educational components on addiction and recovery to patients and families
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality care provision
  • Participate in team meetings and treatment plan reviews
  • Communicate with family members, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Provide outreach services to promote our adolescent programming
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (LADAC, LCSW, LPC, MHSP, or equivalent)
  • Three years of experience in addictions treatment, with a minimum of one year in age/population-specific treatment
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn clinical software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
Work Environment

This role is based in an office setting with occasional contact with people in crisis. You will be required to perform CPR and First Aid as needed and maintain active certification. The position may involve varying shifts, including weekends, and requires the ability to lift up to 20lbs and move around the campus on uneven terrain.
