Echocardiogram Technician Job Summary

Clinical researchers and technologists, we seek an experienced Echocardiogram Technician to work alongside us at Customer Value Partners (CVP). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiogram studies and various cardiac diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced technical expertise to perform echocardiogram studies for Veterans at the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Document findings accurately and efficiently in VA electronic systems
  • Stay updated with new technologies and techniques in cardiac imaging

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with GE Ultrasound Systems
  • Experience performing various cardiac diagnostic procedures, including Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
