Nuclear Medicine Technologist

ResponsibilitiesThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a critical role in providing quality imaging services, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance to radiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Processing and transmitting images to PACS
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Current BCLS (AHA) required
- Proficient computer skills
