CRA Program Manager

The CRA Compliance Officer is essential in shaping, executing, and managing the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act Compliance initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the Bank addresses the credit requirements of the communities it serves, particularly focusing on low- and moderate-income individuals, neighborhoods, and communities of color.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Bank's CRA strategic framework to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Regularly assess designated areas and secure Board of Directors endorsement for any modifications.
- Conduct an annual comprehensive CRA Self-Assessment to strive for an overall Satisfactory CRA Rating.
- Lead and mentor the CRA Community Development team.
- Guarantee adherence to all CRA regulations and supervise the precise collection and reporting of data concerning loans and investments.
- Facilitate and deliver CRA training sessions for bank staff and Board members.
- Evaluate marketing materials to ensure inclusive outreach and design CRA programs to fulfill credit demands.
- Collaborate with nonprofit organizations to provide community development services and coordinate financial literacy initiatives.
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors and examiners during CRA audits and federal evaluations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness to adapt to Google Workspace (G Suite).
- Understanding of consumer, mortgage, and small business lending practices.
- Familiarity with federal banking regulations, particularly the CRA (Regulation BB).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously, conduct research, and devise solutions to challenges.
- Previous experience in CRA initiatives and a Bachelor's degree are essential.
