We are seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our Heavy Civil Construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing new construction, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of bridge and highway projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, cost monitoring, safety, crew management, and communication with clients, engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
- Work with local authorities, such as PennDOT, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural plans and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Visit job sites as needed to monitor progress and address any issues.
- A degree in civil/structural engineering or project management is preferred, but experience is also valuable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management for bridge and highway construction projects.
- Thorough understanding of the construction/bridge/highway industry, including local construction methods, safety, materials, and regulations.
- Experience in highway and bridge construction, excavation, and site development.
- Proficiency in Heavy Job (Project Management) software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and high attention to detail.
