The Role:

  • We are seeking a Discipline Lead to join our Chemical Technologies Global engineering group in Sugar Land, Texas.

About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for enforcing ChampionX SH&E standards and procedures, contributing to achieving company SH&E KPIs through due diligence, duty of care, and personal accountability.

  • As a key member of the engineering team, you will work closely with local engineering and construction firms to manage all aspects of project design and construction, procurement, schedules, quality assurance, safety, and cost control.

  • You will provide technical support for capital projects, develop engineering solutions to stated problems, and ensure that projects are fit-for-purpose.

  • Additionally, you will propose project budgets, track spending, and assist in preparing engineering project proposals.

  • You will participate in ChampionX/contractor meetings, resolve engineering and other project issues, and communicate ChampionX requirements to third-party contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

  • 7 years of experience working as an engineer
