We are seeking a skilled Beauty Therapist to join our team. As a Beauty Therapist, you will provide cosmetology-related services to our residents, ensuring their hair and nail care needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct consultations with residents to determine their hair and nail care preferences.
  • Provide hair washing, dyeing, perming, tinting, bleaching, and curling services.
  • Style hair using various techniques, including cutting, trimming, and tapering.
  • Clean and polish fingernails.
  • Remove unwanted facial hair using waxing or tweezing.
  • Coordinate wheelchair transportation for residents as needed.
  • Update and maintain customer information records.
  • Call and welcome new residents, offering them a coupon for a free haircut.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean supply of towels.

Requirements:

  • A valid cosmetology license with at least six months of related experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or service-related setting.
  • Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults.
