Department Head

At Gillman Home Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Department Head to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily store operations, and driving sales growth.

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Manage daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
• Drive sales growth through effective sales strategies, promotions, and customer engagement.
• Supervise and train sales floor staff, ensuring they meet customer service standards and sales targets.
• Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve store goals and objectives.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
