We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Alpha Inc. Hawaii. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in fostering positive employee relations and addressing workplace concerns to ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with division leaders to address employee performance and behavior issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling of concerns.
  • Lead and manage employee relations investigations to resolve disputes, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Provide training to division leaders on employee relations best practices and work with our Learning and Development team to enhance leadership development programs.
  • Ensure company policies are adhered to, update policies as needed, and communicate any changes to employees.
  • Have a regular on-site presence to foster a connection with employees, gaining insight into workplace morale and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop reports on employee relations issues and trends, making recommendations to division leadership for action.
  • Work closely with division leaders, Learning and Development, and Talent Acquisition to create career progression maps for employees, ensuring clear pathways for advancement.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment laws and ensure company practices are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including retention surveys and action plans to improve employee satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in employee relations or HR.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, conflict resolution, and policy management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage investigations and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams across the organization.
Compensation

$80,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience.
