Registered Nurses play a crucial role in the coordination and execution of comprehensive care for patients.

Responsibilities include Diagnostic Work-Ups, Surgical Interventions, Major Surgery, Step Down from ICU, Adult Cystic Fibrosis management, Wound Care, and Accredited Bariatric Surgery (handling 2-3 patients daily).

Key Competencies, Skills, Training & Abilities:
  • Adheres to the nursing process.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in fundamental nursing skills.
  • Engages effectively and empathetically with all healthcare team members, including patients.
  • Utilizes computer systems and healthcare records proficiently.
Licensure/Registration/Certification Requirements:
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge and application of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Understanding and use of safe patient handling equipment.

Candidates must be prepared to manage exposure to various environmental factors, including dust, fumes, chemicals, temperature fluctuations, and bloodborne pathogens.


  • Must meet all health requirements as specified by the organization (e.g., PPD, respirator training, vaccines, as applicable).
  • Ability to navigate the hospital environment and transition between workstations, with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Must frequently lift, move, or carry patients or equipment of varying weights.
