Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse-Operating Room to join our team at TotalMed for a travel assignment in California.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to work in a dynamic Operating Room environment. As a Registered Nurse-Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the surgical team, and ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical process
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
  • Assist with preparing patients for surgery and transporting them to the operating room

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of California
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
