Job Description

General Motors is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Leader to drive the development process by conducting agile ceremonies and ensuring the appropriate development framework is effectively implemented within the team.

The Role

A Scrum Leader is responsible for managing resources, stakeholders, and timelines; providing leadership and guidance to project teams; and ensuring effective communication and alignment with organizational goals throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor and report on project status
  • Provide guidance and support during execution of change management activities
  • Manage the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements
  • Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership
  • Develop tracking scorecards and metrics to illustrate status and ownership
  • Develop milestone reviews for key milestones and ensure the team is on track to deliver
  • Track business resources and identify any shortages based on project plans
  • Coordinate the input and approval of various project design and decision documents
  • Assist Workstream Leaders in managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business, and organizational units
  • Monitor project progress and consolidate status reports
Requirements
  • Knowledge of a Project Tracking program (i.e., ADO, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience administrating and configuring Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or similar tools preferred
  • Strong Communication Skills
