Your Role and Responsibilities


Your duties will include the design and specification of new features, coding, automation of testing, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and addressing client issues.

Participation in Open Source community gatherings is encouraged and supported, along with opportunities for client-facing roles such as support and conference presentations.

You will work closely with relevant Open Source communities to ensure seamless integration of your contributions and collaborate with our distribution partners.


Work Locations:
Various locations available.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Open Source development, particularly in Linux Kernel, KVM, QEMU, or virtio.

- Over 2 years of experience in low-level or assembler programming on ARM architectures, ideally 64-bit.

- Proficient understanding of operating system internals, including memory management, task scheduling, interrupts, and device drivers.

- Advanced skills in source code management systems such as Git, scripting languages like Python, and test automation tools including Jenkins.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

- Proven contributions to Open Source projects or holding maintainer status for several years.

- Familiarity with current I/O technologies such as PCI, NVMe, and RDMA.

- Knowledge of virtualization and emulation technologies, specifically QEMU TCG.

- Expertise in platform and I/O device management, including UEFI and ACPI.

- A strong drive and motivation to excel.

- Excellent communication abilities.
