Job Summary

The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Manage efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, and arranging or testing and admissions
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse licensure
