We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our esteemed medical team in the picturesque Allegheny Mountains. This role is part of a collaborative service consisting of 25 physicians and over 15 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who specialize in delivering exceptional inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care with the assistance of medical and surgical specialists.
- Coordinate effectively with the Intensivist service and Primary Care physicians to ensure seamless patient management.
Position Details:
- Hospital Employee status with a focus on inpatient care only.
- Work schedule consists of a 7 on/7 off rotation with 12-hour shifts.
- Competitive salary structure or income guarantee with WRVU production incentives.
- Signing and relocation bonuses available to support your transition.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and financial support provided.
- Retirement plan options available (403B).
The average starting census for each physician is between 16-18 adult inpatients per day. This position does not involve obstetrics or pediatrics, and there are no procedural responsibilities. Code responses are managed by residents, while the Intensivist Service oversees the ICU. You will have access to a wide range of sub-specialists for consultations, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
