OVERVIEW
  • Deliver outstanding customer service within the Produce section
  • Support the Produce Manager in daily departmental functions
  • Ensure optimal product presentation and stock levels
  • Accurately process customer orders in a timely manner
  • Implement merchandising strategies according to established standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide friendly and effective customer interactions
  • Maintain a tidy and well-organized work area
  • Assist in product display, merchandising, and inventory management
  • Order necessary products and supplies
  • Evaluate perishable goods for quality assurance
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
  • Train and manage team members within the department
  • Operate necessary produce handling equipment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to lead teams and achieve operational goals
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-12 months of relevant industry experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Frequent standing and walking required
  • Capability to lift and handle weights up to 75lbs
