We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient condition.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including developing and updating care plans, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, including developing and implementing discharge plans, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider, Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida, Advanced Life Support preferred.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
