Job Summary

The Providence Fairfax is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure resident safety and security is the top priority.
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and undressing.
  • Assist residents with feeding, including serving and collecting food trays.
  • Transport residents or assist them to walk.
  • Perform various tasks, such as changing bed linens, running errands, and answering the telephone.
  • Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Nurse's Aid certification in the state of service.
