Job Summary

Rhodes State College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Surgical Technology lectures, labs, and clinical courses. The successful candidate will assist the Surgical Technology Coordinator in preparing and delivering course materials, evaluating student performance, and attending adjunct training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Surgical Technology lectures, labs, and clinical courses to students.
  • Assist the Surgical Technology Coordinator in preparing and delivering course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Evaluate and grade student classwork, lab work, and clinical performance.
  • Attend Rhodes State College adjunct training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in a related field or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience in Surgical Technology.
  • Current Certification in Surgical Technology (CST) or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in teaching or training in a higher education setting.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
