We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Saint Luke's Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with mechanical, anatomical, physiological impairments, and other health-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients after impairment, injury, or disease to determine a prognosis and plan of therapeutic intervention.
- Create individualized patient-centered treatment plans based on evidence-based practice and select appropriate interventions.
- Re-evaluate and provide periodic reassessment of patient progress and contribute to discharge planning.
- Supervise treatment provided by students and physical therapy assistants.
- Participate in and make recommendations for client care interventions to the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Delegate and instruct supportive personnel in services to be provided.
- Perform all other duties as requested by the manager.
- Provide timely documentation per department and/or hospital policy and as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, reimbursement requirements, and physician treatment plan.
- Use professional judgment to ensure safety to self, patients, and others at all times.
- Participate in quality initiatives.
Wednesdays and Fridays, 7a-5:30p. 1 Weekend day a month (inpatient), 1 annual hard to staff shift, and 1 possible holiday.
RequirementsApplicable Experience:
- Less than 1 year
- Bachelor's Degree
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Physical Therapist - Various
