Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Bilingual Admissions Specialist to join our team at our Northridge location. The successful candidate will collaborate with prospective clients and referring entities to gather information and evaluate the appropriateness of treatment at our center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish rapport with prospective clients through telephone, video conference, or in-person interactions to gather information on symptoms, behaviors, and financial information.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, healthcare providers, and other community agencies to enroll referrals.
  • Identify crisis situations and provide emergency contact information.
  • Document suspected child abuse and submit reports as required.
  • Schedule clients for pre-admission and intake appointments.
  • Responsible for data entry, preparing weekly updates, and completing progress notes.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • B.A./B.S. in Psychology, Social Work, or other Mental Health-related field.
