We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Tech II CNA to join our team at Northlake Behavioral Health System.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers extensive on-the-job training and certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention. As a Mental Health Tech II CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, including monitoring their safety, supervising daily activities, and teaching proper hygiene techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with milieu management, including supervising patients and ensuring their safety
- Teach patients proper hygiene and social skills, as well as reinforcing medication compliance
- Act as an advocate for patients' rights and ensure their needs are met
- Participate in continuous Performance Improvement activities to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent experience
- Competitive salary: $42,000 - $55,000 per year
