About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Analyst with a focus on Manufacturing Product & Process Quality Improvement to join our Information Technology team at Pella Corporation.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP/MES system applications. This role will be responsible for analyzing, supporting, scaling and improving our IT systems and business processes to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand user needs and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT, Engineering, and Operations on best practices.
  • System Design and Development:
  • Develop functional specifications and system designs based on gathered requirements.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time.
  • Develop and manage Reports & metrics to drive process improvements.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Provide systems leadership and guidance for Operations Teams in implementing key initiatives.
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance system performance and business operations.
  • Project Management:
  • Assist in managing IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and scope.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Provide Management with detailed project plans for key initiatives, including milestones, effort and planned completion dates.
  • Testing and Validation:
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance meet requirements.
  • Identify, document, and resolve system issues and bugs.
  • Responsible for business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
  • User Support and Training:
  • Maintain and Support ERP system and Intelligent Operations Applications
  • Provide support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of systems and applications.
  • Develop user manuals and documentation as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to management and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ Years of proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role in IT or business analysis.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, manufacturing and IT systems.
  • Experience with system design, development, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java, Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices is a plus (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
